NetWalker 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Hey Sphinx, pal, sorry using your topic, but I have the same problem! and that's driving me nuts! Ok, lemme explain: I have 2 PCs, first one is: Athlon 3200+, 1.5 Gigs RAM, GeForce 6800XT 256MB AGP, SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS. In this rig, ArmA runs good and I can play on SP and MP as long as I like without any crashes or graphical issues! Now my problems begins. My second PC is: Athlon X2 4200+, 2 Gigs RAM, GeForce 7950GT 512MB PCIe, SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum. Although the second PC is better than first one, I can't play ArmA on it! My game keeps crashing to desktop after 15-30 minutes of gameplay, no matter if I am on SP or MP sessions. It just goes to desktop, sometimes with an error on arma.exe, sometimes without showing any particular message, the game just closes!! I'd like to play ArmA on the second PC, since I can put the settings on high and FPS and graphics quality is much better than first PC, where I play with everything on low/normal. Why this happens? Arma does not like dual core processors? Arma does not like the creative X-Fi sound card? Why is it happening? Hey BI, can you please help me? Tell me what kind of logs and I can provide. I just want to know why I can't play it on my best PC! Thanks!
Nonpoint 0 Posted August 3, 2007 If you have 2 gigs of ram, disable your page file, that fixed my problem that was same as yours, CTD
