1436 1 Posted August 1, 2007 Yah so i was helping to set up a server with someone and i join the server. to do a beta test and pings wher 799999.WTH!?! i knew he was on a 5mbit line and he was running windows 2003 server. poroblums is 2003 Server sets teh Rwin to 415000 or so. and thats way to much data to pump out a 5mbit line so got him to go to http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php he got tcp optimizer Selected his network adapter changed the rwin to 256960 reboot started server back up and wala 64ms ping Tcp Recive window can affect Arma server alot if you are running a box i would recomend 256960 Tcp Recive window for a 5mbit server upload or more arma server dont use 20+ mbit of data for upload/download so useing a high rwin can cause unwanted affects. if you want to tweek youre box out set Tcp Recive window to 256960 TTL of 128 & max duplicateaks to 3. reboot and play Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
