Problem installing 1.08 patch

I installed the 505 games version that I purchased from gogamer.com.  Then I installed the 1.05 patch with no problems.  When I install the 1.08 international patch I get an error that sends me to Securom.com and the message says Securom has determined that an emulation tool has modified your PC settings.  Then it tells you to delete all the dos devices in the local machine\system\mounted devices in the registry.  That didn't work, it just made all my drives disappear.  I had to recover from my backup drive.  The 1.05 patch works fine but if I install the 1.08 patch the same thing occurs every time and It won't install.  No problems with the game when I run it under the 1.05 patch.  Has anyone run into this problem?

do you have daemon tools or any other imaging tool installed?

I have Partition Commander 10 Professional installed. Could that be the problem?
