Regarding the mission end crash problem, search The FAQ for "mission save ctd".

Regarding the upgrade problem, search The FAQ for "logo display" and read the first 2 matching articles.

BTW, have you checked your ASPI layer?

Havent you read my post, avon lady?

I tried to avoid the ctds with UNINSTALLING all cd writing progs.

tihs DOESNT work.

so the faq doesnt help me. (it from the 4th dec 2001!!!wink.gif

nothing new till now?

I also used a reg cleaner to make sure ALL entries of the bruning progs are deleted.

and besides, there are people who NEED cd writing software!

What i have to check?

aspi layers?

dont now what it is, and where i have to check

Aldega, that is great info. It looks like the article is saying that if you have ever installed ANY CD program, it most likely messed with your ASPI layer files. So even uninstalling the proggie will still leave you with messed up files.

It also looks like Adaptec may be able to fix your problem with your patch upgrade, so I'd try it if I was having trouble.

Again, Thx Aldega, I didn't know that.

PS: Here, I'll make it even easy for ya.

Thanks. I have not yet updated The FAQ item on ASPI. Much appreciated! So you can smile now.
