natem16a4 0 Posted July 15, 2007 ok so I downloaded the ARMA demo, and it runs, but I am getting very slow frame rates, its like a slideshow! (well maybe not that slow). anyway, to the details, I just got a ram upgrade (i now have 1.25 gb ram) and a new graphics card (a geforce fx5500 pci 128mb). my processor is like 2.6 ghz (dont really know what that does). anyway i was wondering what I should do to be able to play the game with good graphics and smoothly. NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted July 15, 2007 I wanna say maybe you should invest in maybe a newboard that has PCIe slot or slots. An get a GeForce 7600 GT or higher PCIe videocard. an some DDR2 ram 1 gig or more. All that depends on what you can poke into your Mboard. Probly cost you around $500 US bucks. or less.. Oh an a SATAII Hard drive. But for your current setup I wanna say get a AGP8X video card Or a PCIe video card if your board supports em.
