JGRAY 0 Posted February 20, 2002 what is happening is I am playing multi player with people that are on the same LAN line. I will register to the server "connecting" but will never connect. Also i reseve all my posistions east or west and what solider i am. then my screen goes to recieving and a red and or yellow box will show up on the bottom right hand section of my lap top screen. On the top left will say no message reseved for 10 seconds. What can i do to play Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Lt_Damage 0 Posted February 21, 2002 This sounds quite strange, you are on a lan so connection should be quick and simple. What I can suggest is change the ports u guys are running on before creating the server on the lan. Click on PORT before you click on NEW (Server) then change port from 2234 to 2235. If you run DXDiag and do a DirectPlay test you can test each port to see if you have problems with it. I found that I could not create sessions properly on port 2234 but had no problems on port 2235.
