Hoot1988 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Ok i went to watch transformers this evening, good film but i wasnt interested in that after i watched the trailers. What got me thinking was this... http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.c....2281681 if you want a higher quality HD version heres the apple site links http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/11808/ The movie has no title at all and under the production title of "Cloverfeild", also from waht ive been reading on various forums the creature is being referred to as the Parasite to keep everything quiet. another interesting aspect is that the movie is produced or directed by JJ abrams who also does lost, and going off his part in creating the lost experience theres a theory that this is part of a bigger puzzle to get hype going before the movie is released. There are rumors on the internet that this is a new Godzilla movie but i highly doubt that as its too soon since the last movie. alos lots of other ideas about it being different japanese cartoon movie depictions, as it was shown before transformers. the theorys that i find most plausible are Cthulhu (Deity of Dread) or Shiva (Hindu God of Destruction). i quite like the idea of these two and hope it is one of them, as it is a different road to go down for Apocalipse/Armageddon movies. Tovarish 0 Posted July 11, 2007 I just got around to seeing Transformers and just saw this - very intriguing. I have a feeling the Godzilla angle is a decoy - it just seems too obvious for the amount of trouble they're going to to keep info under wraps (especially with the trip to Japan reference). Hoot1988 0 Posted July 11, 2007 it cant be godzilla as sony and some other japanese companies own the rights and its a paramount production, theres also a freeze on godzilla movies till 2013. theres a theory its a lost movie, and the creature is smokey. but i cant see that either, it could just be another alien invasion movie.
