O2 viewer/ O2 light

I install O2 light in a dir and O2 viewer in a dir.

When I start O2 light I get the message,

"Unable to open external viewer"

When I start O2 viewer I get the message

"Bad serial number given Setup"

I hope someone can tell me what is wrong.

have you installed operation flashpoint? as far as I recall, unless things have changed, the viewer requires operation flashpoint to work properly, as it renders in real time using the game engine.

No, I use Arma.

Is there some free software like O2 for Arma I can use ?

ArmA tools aren't out yet.

there are a fair few free modeling programs out there, for instance wings 3D - a quick search in google will find you most of them.

for getting your addon in game, you will have to use Oxygen - mainly for things like named selections and memory lods etc - things that a unique to the game engine.

the old O2 was made for OFP, hence why you need OFP to make it work. The new tools will use the ARMA engine to render instead.
