mattxr 9 Posted July 4, 2007 Oki If you look into a trigger or Sound Menu you can access a sound called Music. It Sounds like fairground music and the closer you get to the trigger or sound the louder it gets and the further away you get the more it fades. I looked though the configs and even tried myself copiying from the config to create my own radio sounds. What i am trying to achive is if i can add a radio to the map and add a trigger sound over the radio to the closer to it you get the loader the music sounds and the further away to get it fades untill you cant hear it. The reason for this is that if you come across a radio in campaign missions i want to create there will be repeated radio messages coming accrosss to but listern you must get to the radio and i want it to fade in and out like that 'music' does that BIS have implemeted. Could any of the BIS team who made it work like that be able to help me becuase im totaly confused at how you done it. i have tried everything to my ability. Balschoiw 0 Posted July 6, 2007 I am not sure if I get what your problem is. I use custom sounds, like radio, music, voices that are localized (getting louder and lower when changing distance) a lot. For the radio: Create your sound, 44khz, 16 bit mono Either have it played by distance trigger itself as voice or use a live unit "speaker", using "say" command, to get it done. It changes volume automatically the closer you get. Same for music, still music files have to be mono and imported to Arma as sounds to make it work. Play around with the description.ext db settings to make it sound real.
