ManDay 0 Posted July 3, 2007 I have a - more or less serious - problem. I tried my mission with SuperAI turned on and a detected-Trigger gets triggered then - even tho there aren't any OPFOR (det. by. BLUEFOR) soldiers in the area. Actually I know SuperAI should really be called "Mr. Smith AI" or something - so I don't really care that they now spot a chopper, at night, 2000m afar, flying low... thru hills... But I care that the trigger gets triggered although it shouldnt be triggered. Anyone else experienced that? €: In fact, I'm not able to reproduce that error in a sterilized scenario. But the situation in my orginal mission seems to be ovious as well. If anyone shows will to check this out I may just give you the mission and the reference to the data. €: I got a suspicion but I m not sure whether it is true: Probably the DETECTED-Trigger type is based upon a list of all units the detecting side know about - and on the position they estimate the units to be at. so UltraAI (thats the right term) will make the guys spot the enemy from miles away - but not reveal their exact position to them. so they expect the "discovered" units to be in the area of the trigger while actually they arent. not that bad - if it was like that. would even make sense to me since a "DETECTED"-Trigger type normally should react to what the guys in the game actually "think". So if they really "think" they detected someone within the zone - get it triggered! suspicion::end. comments?
