maxqubit 1 Posted June 27, 2007 Ok, it's been a while since i've posted somethin and i'm atm not into ArmA (you know me, console junkie) ... ... but there are other quality games out there (even on console). I'm currently enjoying Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on XBOX 360. It has been said this 360 version is a bit crippled but the core gameplay still stands like a rock. In relation to ArmA/OFP ... well, there is shooting:) and my god, the AI/sim is fabulous (compared to 99% of other games), and especially the human component of the AI/sim ... Every PES player knows and plays pes because it 'feels like the real thing'. Anyway, i've recorded (directly from screen so no sophistcated fraps thingy or something) a replay and added some text and music. Enjoy ... I don't see the what everyone else sees in PES too me the animations look weird, transitions aren't very good and PES don't have the licenses like Fifa do. As a Flashpoint visitor you SHOULD know:) PES is to Fifa what OFP is to (let say) BF/COD PES is a soccer SIM. FIFA is mere arcadic trash. Fun perhaps but you just can't see it as a soccer sim. PES starts with the BALL, and builds everything around it, but FIFA? I don't think they started with the ball, they started with the licences or something like that. You like COD, you're damn right. Play the games you like ... always! That's why they are made:) But for PES ... take my (and the communities) word for it ... if you get into it you will feel more and more you are playing the 'real thing'. So yes, you can end up playing for 20-30 minutes and still be on 0-0 ... but hey THAT IS SOCCER:) it happens irl so it can happen in PES. Pulling of shots from 35 yards? Well 9 out of 10 miss the goal entirely (like irl) but if you do get it right the keeper will be in trouble, perhaps a rebound (as irl) and IF you ever manage to score from 35 yards ... well, you know it is just beautiful man, just 'art' Like this one (not by me, i never performed the art yet:) from distance or this one heeled goal As soon as you start to play PES yourself you know above goals are just 'art' Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
