trickyb 0 Posted February 17, 2002 hi what is the w buffer when i have it enabled i get texture tearing on the roads its only visable when i am airborne what difference does it make my specs windows xp xp 1800 athlon 512mb ddr gainward geforce 3 i have tried various drivers for the video card the only way to get rid of the tearing is to disable w- buffer anyone else had this problem what the hell is a w-buffer Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sexacutioner 0 Posted June 1, 2002 I love it when people just tell ya to search for the problem. Why waste time typing for that kind of answer? Anyway... If you are having no problems with w-buffer disabled then Great! You will get faster preformance with it off anyway. Plus, your graphix card probably has it's own z-buffer or something.
