when i have it enabled i get texture tearing on the roads

its only visable when i am airborne

what difference does it make

my specs

i have tried various drivers for the video card

the only way to get rid of the tearing is to disable w- buffer

I love it when people just tell ya to search for the problem. Why waste time typing for that kind of answer?

Anyway...

If you are having no problems with w-buffer disabled then Great! You will get faster preformance with it off anyway. Plus, your graphix card probably has it's own z-buffer or something. W-buffer is just used as an alternative in case your own graphix card buffer doesn't work right.

1. You can't expect everyone who might be able to help to type all of the possible things to try, or to cut-and-paste from another thread.

2. One reason for referring to Avon Lady's OFP FAQ is because you can find answers to most questions about OFP there. Rather than getting a single answer to a single question, you get the location of the single best independent OFP resource on the Internet.
