spleinmuncher 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Alright, so basically, I have bought and installed the game using Sprocket - meaning that it is already 1.08. I have also updated the drivers outlined in the wiki (Vid card, Sound Card). And yet still, when I click to open the game, I get the little window with all the check boxes, all of which are gradually checked except for the last two, at which point I get the standard "This program has encountered and inconvenience and needs to close..." crap from Windows. Here are my specs: *Radeon X700 Graphics Card *C-Media Sound Card *AMD Athlon 2500+ Processor Any ideas on what I should do? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
spleinmuncher 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Ok, now this is just weird - I installed the latest Nvidia drivers on my PC, and sure enough, it worked!...for a bit. That is, I did NOT do that thing where you restart the computer to "complete the installation..." Instead, I played ArmA, and it worked great! Then, I rebooted (for unrelated reasons), and now I have the same problem. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
