check the "playmove" and "switchmove" script commands at the wiki here -> http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Category:Scripting_Commands_ArmA

there will be a list of all the animations, you might find one that will work. thats a start until someone jumps in here and tells you how.

this might work:

unitname switchmove "AidlPercMstpSnonWnonDnon04"

put that in the init.sqs or initintro.sqs if you are doing it in an intro. you could also put that in an ON ACT line of a waypoint or trigger.

Because there is no "Weapon on Back" action in ArmA, of course.

I tried alot of different things to get this to work as it would come in handy for a couple of my vidz as well.

Tried triggering from a gamelogic, triggering from waypoints, triggers, scripts and other soldiers. The key point being that when you want soldier1 to have his weapon on his back, you cannot use the action from soldier1, you have to do it from another soldier (object I am guessing).

If it makes you feel any better, most of the actions are not working in 1.07beta. As I am new, I don't why.
