Misfit Leader 2 Posted June 17, 2007 I've at last identified how to reproduce that annoying bug i were having when i want to go down by a rooftop ladder. When you use ladder in prone or crouch yourself gonna run and fall from the building.. the only tips is to get back in normal position before taking the ladder. If you are blocked by the enemy on a rooftop it could be dangerous.. or you can run and fall on the enemy as airbag maybe Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Double tap left ctrl to get back to normal position. I am speaking another bug, if you go prone or crouch and try get down by ladder you will see your soldier run without taking the ladder. Misfit Leader 2 Posted June 17, 2007 I found the tips to avoid other ladder bug. The one you are blocked with the ladder. It's because you have your handgun in the hand. This problem is caused because the handgun don't have position when you double tap left ctrl, where rifle have this position. So take your rifle if you want to climb a ladder, if you only have hand gun, don't use ladder or you will be blocked. BIS could easily fix that with caming back with the previous standard position when exiting a ladder. Or make a new animation/position with the hand gun. Knight Trane 0 Posted March 4, 2008 I've had this problem; no matter what position or weapon i have. Some times I'm blocked, sometimes not. Mostly on roofs. I heard there was a "hot fix" for it, but can't find it. Really would like this fixed. The ability to climb up and down ladders seem like an ability reqired in modern warfare. This is a very old discussion, which is no longer viewable. Hope it gets you fixed up. Edit: I do not have permission to post in the Hot Fix thread, If  any mod were to post "Ladder bug Fixed" in there, the search engine would find it. They might be a lot more helpful if people would follow some simple rules, such as: Don't reply just to just tell the originator how great they are,or how apreciative you are that they made something. It cloggs up the flow of info. If you have something substatial to add to the discussion, add it. Trudging through 20 pages of "Way to go", is rediculous. Put you salutations and attaboys at the end. It helps those of us who need help, get the info or advice they need. I'll edit this later with some pretty good quotes that will ilistrate my point latter.
