It's amazing how Jardel is relatively 'unknown' when he has scored so many goals. Americans (Harvard ppl, as far as I know) though rugby was too brutal:D, so they implemented some safety gears, and changed some rules and decide to call it other than 'rugby'. The american football is made of pigskin, but now they se synthetic ones. it's shaped like an almond, if you haven't seen one. Done. ok..another topic. The World Cup is coming soon. I have no idea when it is, but I know it's gonna be held by Korea and Japan. opening will be held in KR, finals in JP. the games will be split between 2 countries. AFAIK UK will be at JP most of the time. And if you know any hooligan going to either country, please advise them to keep it down, or they will get some dose of karate or taekwondo. Police their won't be nice...both countries have oppressive and aggressive riot control, and don't expect rude behaviours to be granted like UK. They will burst your head open if you go to far. Â <span id='postcolor'> i don't see how adding to shit loads of padding and stopping the game after every 3 minutes for a new play makes american football more demanding on speed, toughness, teamplay etc... The best example of how rugby is superior in all these aspects comes with the lions tour of australia, there you people like dafydd james and robinson legging it straight up the field as fast as they could (usually through several as well), some awesome long range passes (and shitloads of passing generally). american football, as i see it anyway, if half the team bashing into the other half of the team, a guy catching the ball and lobbing it forwards so 2, maybe 3 fast guys have a chance of catching it so that the next play they can do it all again 20 yards closer to the goal. Maybe they require pads because three quarters of the team are just there to big and fat and crash into the other teams equally fat and heavy players. IsthatyouJohnWayne 0 Posted February 16, 2002 ahem- Well in other news Peacekeepers (as opposed to the seperate anti taliban forces) have come under fire for the first time, the British Paratroopers returned fire and 1 person is reported dead (5 injured)- no peacekeeper injuries but still it marks a step up in Afghanistan. First the aviation minister was killed now this....
