orwell84 0 Posted May 28, 2007 Hello, I have OFP GOTY. I was wondering which mods would be the best witht the least amount of tinkering to get me started. So far I have patched to 1.96, added ECP +FFURSLX20071.0 + the patch for that. Am I on the right track? Do I need to have ECP installed first? Is there a guide to installing mods? POPKA 0 Posted May 28, 2007 You can install them in any order, a sub folder should be created in your OperationFlashpoint Folder called @ECP or @FFUR or somthing along those lines. To run them you need to create a shortcut to Flashpoint and put -mod=ModFolderName but most big mods do this for you. I wouldn't recommend trying to run them together as it can cause problems. orwell84 0 Posted May 28, 2007 Ok, I see. If I install ECP, I run it through that exe/icon. I can also choose to run FFUR 2007, but I have to open the game with that exe. I would be running FFUR 2007 without ECP. I have the feeling though that when I am running ECP I am still getting a lot of the features of ffur 2007, without the splash screens etc. Does this make sense? POPKA 0 Posted May 28, 2007 yep each mod is completely seperate, if you run the regular Flashpoint exe that opens of Flashpoint with no mods. That does make sense as ECP is a special effects mod and has many effects which may be somewhat similar to what you see in FFUR Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
