Shouted voice commands

Can we temporarely override the spoken commands of units and mute them without changing their combatmode and using a mod ?

Would be good for cutscenes.

Yes I believe the command is enableradio false. And I think they added another one in ArmA for this as well but I dont remember what it is.

There is no command for this so far. If you would be able to block the units speaking by the say command as you suggested, the AI would probably stop operating correctly, as its communication would basically be blocked.

If was thinking of "muting" the AI by having an empty sounloop "said" by it all over again but it looks like this would block the AI from following it´s planned routine.

For now we have to live with it as it seems, even if it sounds very stupid in cutscenes with custom sound.

Hopefully a scripting command will be implemented oneday that gives us control of the voicebehaviour.
