158.18_forceware_winvista_32bit

Recommended Posts

I don't know if anybody noticed already - yesterday I installed 158.18_forceware_winvista_32bit from nvidia.com in Vista. I chose to use "advanced" settings in the NVidia control panel.

There is now an option to turn off VSYNC manually. Gimme back my fps quick smile_o.gif

Regards,

You can also use nHancer to edit that setting and much others that the standard NVIDIA control panel doesn't even include.

But is it really off?

ATI´s driver has had an option for "Vsync off" since i started using Vista (Catalyst 7.2 i think) but using this setting does not affect Vsynk ingame (still on).

My guess is that the interface is the same as in XP and the Vsync option is there but not supported in the drivers.
