KingBeast 0 Posted February 12, 2002 Frankly since OFP came out, any games that are just FPS mascarading as "realistic" FPS ahvent appealed to me much (MOH springs to mind) Personally I think FPS games would be best off sticking to unrealistic and fun concepts. So instead of making linear realistic shooters, make linear "original" shooters. And leave the gritty nail biting realism to games like OFP and Delta force. Understand me? Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted February 12, 2002 No, you cant use the vehicules, unfortunately all you can do is sit inside and shoot outside (as far as I know) while the thing is moving. The game was made with the Quake III engine. In this second version now they got around 17 usuable weapons (without knifes), 8 grenades and other stuff. But this time there will be no crazy weapons such as a "microwave gun" cause this time they had Military adviser John Mullins (this guy is famous eh!! ) to help them with realism. Sometimes he had to shut up though cause the fans wanted things like:" one Uzi in each hand"! The missions gonna play in the whole world (Prague, Hong Kong, Clumbia, germany...). In Germany it is gonna come out in March (so you probably already have it in your shops). The cool thing it has a Mission-generator, that created new missions for you (145 mio combinations). I wanna say I dont want to wait till OFP 2 comes out! And about the mission-generator! The advantage of a mission generator is that you dont know what to expect in the mission (it is somehow different when you did the mission yourself, as in OFP). And in MP mode you can be sure that noone knows the map, so noone has a advantage (I know where to hide) against the others. someone knows a better mission editor than OFP?
