Error when people try to play my map

the error says "you can not play/edit this mission cause it is dependent on downloaded content that has been deleted"

What the heck does that mean?

I used bas_framwork, used some scripts:

randomwatch.sqs

ied.sqs

ammobox_1.sqs

vehi_respawn.sqs

The players require whatever addons the mission uses, probably the bas_f thing.

Missing scripts would not cause this error, instead (probably) causing a error message to display in game.

A less generic missing addon error message would be helpful.

I started the map with the bas_f, earlier versions of the map where fine. I posted the whole mission sqm if anybody has time.

as you can see it is all standard units.

Im a noob to this and ive worked on this for 1.5 months. any help would be greatly apericeated.

MAP_misc.....i think this might be a mapfact addon.

YESSSS!!! i had placed an editor addon of a street light. can i delete it off of the mission sqm?

You didn't need to post the entire mission, just the addOns and addOnsAuto bits smile_o.gif

Map misc is the problem.

Note if you ever add an addon based object into a mission, it will automatically be added it to the required addons. However, even if you remove the object from the mission, it is NOT automatically removed from these lists. (or at least thats the way it worked in OFP).

Try manually removing both map_misc references from the mission.sqm once you have removed all map_misc objects in the mission editor.

MuteAssassin - which version of BAS f did you start with? If you are using v0-0-23 there is a bug in the manual in the section covering the MP Endings Controller. This has been fixed in the manual for v0-0-25 (available on the BAS site now). You will not have to change any of your files - just follow the revised instructions in the new version of the manual.

The v0-0-25 build of BAS also includes Kegetys' Specator Script for ArmA - adding this component to a mission started using v0-0-23 is not hard, PM if you need instructions.
