bloodrock 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Good afternoon. I saw that ArmA demo could be downloaded, so i say myself "yeah, i read good opinions about this game, i'll try it's demo !". So I download the .exe file, install as normal and launch the game. When I arrived on the main menu page, I went in the Options to change the screen resolution... And this is the moment when i did something wrong : I cliked by mistake on a non-supported (by my screen) screen resolution... Since then, I have with ArmA a black screen with a white rectangle moving saying "Warning ! Non supported screen-resolution, you should change to 1024*768^32." But since I only have this black screen, i can't change the resolution ! I reinstalled the ArmA Demo twice hoping that it would come back in 800*600 at first launching, but it went in the wrong resolution directly. Could somebody help me, please ? This is such a dumb mistake but i don't know how to resolve the problem
rowdied 44 Posted April 18, 2007 Go into your "mydocuments" folder and find the folder "arma demo". Open that then open the armademo cfg file with notepad. Change the resolution_W to 1024 and the resolution_h to 768 and save it. This should work. Good luck and enjoy.
