pbohart 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Hi - I just started trying to play this game but am having no luck. Every 10 to 15 seconds the screen goes black, I get a strange message saying 'processing' (or something like that) with a status bar at the top of the screen, then the game resumes...for 10 to 15 seconds before all this happens again. I have turned down all the detail settings and the problems persist. Any ideas? Here are my specs: Vista x64 Ultimate Intel Core 2 Due Extreme Edition 2 GB RAM ATI X1900XTX Graphics BX975X2 Motherboard Any ideas? Lower graphics settings to see if it goes away, things that use plenty of memory like textures or pp. Currently Vista is just not a good gaming option. It could be related to excessive system memory use or a video driver bug... like the one stickied above. Try to monitor system activity under load if you can .
