sarelg 0 Posted April 10, 2007 I tried to search for this problem but I haven't found anything... What happens is I start to play, and then suddenly the game will turn really dark to a point I can't play.. If I stop moving and look at one certain point, it gets better for a few seconds, but then it goes back to dark and I can't play Does anyone know how I can fix it? opteryx 1562 Posted April 10, 2007 Heh.. I have the almost exact opposite problem where when I am inside vehicles (especially helicopters) everything becomes so bright it becomes very difficult to see anything, going to third person perspective removes it, when I go back to first person it's fine for a while but it usually returns
sarelg 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Yes I saw several threads about the problem you're describing... But I haven't found anything regarding to mine.. My guess is it comes from an attempt to simulate the human eye, like when you turn away from a bright object everything looks dark, but for some reason it's way to extreme to a point I can't play the game... Maddmatt 1 Posted April 11, 2007 What video card and drivers are you using? If you have an Nvidia 6/7 series then try the 93.71 drivers from the Nvidia site. Also try setting brightness and gamma in game to the default values of 1.0.
sarelg 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Brightness and gamma settings are deafault and I have Nvidia 6600 card already with 93.71 drivers... : \

sarelg 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Maybe there is a certain gamma\brightness configuration that could be used which would make the game not too bright and not too dark... Does anyone have any ideas?
