Gordon Smacktard 0 Posted April 10, 2007 Hi All, Would appreciate if you can help me with the following: been playing ArmA online over the past few weeks and Ive had some amazing games!(and also some not so amazing...). Anyway I've played lots of different missions which the game has downloaded before letting me in to play - obviously. What I want to know is can I save them? Sometimes Ive gone back to the same mission and it loads straight away - giving me the impression they have been saved on the computer, but when I go to load an MP mission they are not listed there. Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry for the waffle!
Dallas 9 Posted April 10, 2007 Hi, You're automatically saving them to a folder called MPMissionsCashe hidden somewhere in C:/Documents and Settings/User/Local Settings/Application Data/ArmA/. Whether the file is visible on your PC or how to change settings to make it visible, I wouldn't know. Someone tried to explain it to me, but I didn't understand a word of it. Instead I went into my start menu and search for 'MPMissionsCashe', found the folder and created a shortcut. To play these missions, copy them into your regular ArmA/MPMissions folder. That is all. I hope.
Gordon Smacktard 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Wow Dallas, Thanks a million for your helpful response! I've tried what you've said but all I can find is a folder that has all the missions listed as folders - but those folders have no files in them! C:\Documents and Settings\Gordon\My Documents\ArmA Other Profiles\Gordon%20SmackTard\Saved\mpmissions In that folder there are 37 folders listed all named after missions I have played online HOWEVER they are all empty! Anyway I'm gonna test some things out and see what happens! Man, Ive had some GREAT games online! Thanks for your help!
