Triton 0 Posted April 2, 2007 We have a windows based server running several games. We want to add Armed Assult to the server. We are having a problem getting the game to hold to an IP address that is not the rooot IP of the box. IWe can't have the game running on the root IP. I set up the IP using Armtec 6th since tools but it will not hold the assighned IP for long. How can I setup so the game will run on the IP i need it to. We got it to run fine for about an hour but now when we start it up on the right IP and try to join the game as a player we get an error message saying the ver.is not compatible with the server. The server is running ver 1.05 including the international patch. The player trying to join is also runninng the same ver. Any help would be great. We are trying to set 3 or 4 Arma games on the same box with differant IPs

jasono 0 Posted April 6, 2007 So your ip changes? Does the host for the server has a dynamic IP service?
Triton 0 Posted April 7, 2007 We did get to hold to the Ip we wanted. Now we need a remote contol panel so we can loat map and modes without going into the server to do them. Any Ideas? We were able to make 6th since tools to fix the Ip problem.
Axek/Axyl 2 Posted April 7, 2007 Do you have a link for that? Jason, the issue is when you have multiple IP's bound to one NIC. Regards, Craig.

What you want is the server files and the 6th since tools. Inside that folder is a section named tools that where we were able to change the IP. However it is still on the root IP but we don't let anyone on that one.
