troop 0 Posted March 20, 2007 Hello Teox, It's an bug and basically points out to you, that your settings for the game are too high for now (until bug fixed) Read this thread (error 800700e) http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=57916 and then try to lower your settings to the point it no longer crashes after 5-15 minutes. If you can play then for ~an hour, your settings are ok. - Begin turning down Texture quality, then shading detail, furthermore (if thats not enough) lower shadow detail and disable AA. Try to go from 'low' to 'normal' settings and avoid 'high' and 'very high'.
Teox 0 Posted March 20, 2007 Ok, also if this trouble is not so frequent. So, I tryed to play at medium-low settings, and the game work very good, so I'm sure that is due a bugs than will be fixed... I hope soon.

Teox 0 Posted March 21, 2007 So, i've followed a 3d that explain waht to do in case of error in subject... The solution seems to set the "maxmem=512". That's true, the game is more stable, and now crashing only 1/2 time in 3 hours... I'm apologise but this time don't report nothing, the OS open a notify "Armed Assault.exe has stopped ecc ecc.." , next time I see details... Tnx for now, I hope to view the next patch soon.. spongbo 0 Posted March 21, 2007 I get much the same thing. MaxMem sorts out the Surface error, but I get a different crash less frequently. Vista X64, 2GB RAM, ATI X1950 512, Athlon X2 4400+
