VasilyZaitsev 0 Posted March 17, 2007 Hi everyone! I have probles with weapon accuracy in 1.05 patch. I can't hit any object even from 15 yards! As I strart fire half bullets hit ground or fly in left-right directions while I am stricktly aiming at 1 object. Â Any idea what may be causing that? Â ( I have SP rocket version, by the way ) At first I couldnt install .02 patch, then after I managed how, the game was crashing all the time so I couldnt play. After 1.05 came out everything had to be fine! But NO.. For some reason SP rocket asked me to enter my refrence number again to play they game. After I did they said it was already been used by me and I cant activate game 2 times! Â I wrote them Email.. had to wait 7 days for them to fix this problem. OK. The game finally started! Â While I tried to configure router I closed game from desktop. Guess what??? Something happend to SP rocket bugged protection.. game wouldn't start! Â 3 errors jumping out saying about some missing files! Holy mother of God.. Â Â Reinstalling game wouldnt help. So.. Last chance.. I install a copy of CZ DVD 1.00 version. Enter my CD key, apply patch. Find fixed exe (since I dont have original disk). It works. Everything looks fine.. but NOOOO.. Now weapon bug!!!!! My God... Â Â May be I don't understand something in this life.. wtf is going on? Â A global warming perhaps? Or the world is comming to an end? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Even if I install it back I wont be able to start the game because I get error. Which says Im missing some files. I have legal CD key but I dont have original DVD.. so.. Should I buy another copy of the game? Excuse me. I almost want my money back for what I already have! They should pay me for what I've been through with AA. Why would they make such thing in first place? Those who know how to hack will hack anyway. So now I have to look for way to by pass the prottection. Great! I hate reading forum.. looking for a hack or experimenting with virtual mounting tools. I've already had enough of this.. I already wasted enough hours of my life by installing and reinstalling this game. Â May be there is a way to fix SP rocket version? Maddmatt 1 Posted March 17, 2007 If you have missing/corrupted file errors, then you need to re-download the game. Downloads sometimes get corrupted, it happens. You will probably need to email softwrap for another download and activation. Any problems with activation are their fault, and missing/corrupted files mean the download didn't work properly and you need to download again. Cracked *.exe files will just give you problems from the copy protection and virtual drives will also give you a headache. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Even if they do I am sure same thing will happen again as the game crashes or exits other way than going through all menus. Posting a headline for a fault about a nonexistent bug that is nothing to do with the problem you are experiencing will not win you any favours with those who would help you and who are going to peeved at you crying wolf! The description of your bug seems to indicate copy protection or anti cheat functions. You seem to describe an update patch as the cause. What version do you have I am a little confused in some parts of this you are saying it is a sproket download in others you say you have the DVD version. Which is it? If you have both DO NOT MIX THE TWO UP! If you have both and you use the key from one on the other that is going to kick in copy and anti cheat protection same as it would happen if you were to use someone else's DVD key. It helps prevent cheaters and TKers from using your ID and getting you a bad rep. If you have the DVD If you only have a DVD version, I do not see what your problem with that version is; you have the DVD just reinstall and reapply the patch. If you have the download version Re download your spocket version if that was your method of buying ArmA and you have such a legal version. You are entitled to do this multiple times and if you have a problem with your activation key softwrap will send you another. You need to contact sales@softwrap.com for a replacement licence, if you need one, but I presume you have done this already and have a record of the same. Sprocket do answer emails by the next working day according to the latest reports in the sprocket thread pinned at the top of this form section. If you have a hybrid version; download replaced by DVD If you have a hybrid version where you at first downloaded then had a DVD for that key sent to you later. It means you only have one copy not two! I presume you then have your activation locked to that version and will have beeen told so when you recieved your DVD replacement and must continue to use that key same as anyone else with a DVD version would. Any breach of this rule may result in the poster no longer having access to the forum. @VasilyZaitsev You twice admitted that you don't own a legal CD which clearly violates above rule. If you have problems with the Sprocket version use the existing Sprocket troublshooting thread or contact Sprocket Support.
