Multiple Installations on one Machine

Has anybody had any success installed multiple versions on the same machine?

Update:

It doesn't seem to be a problem going from 1.04 to 1.05.

I had tried it on 1.02 to 1.04 - with two different installation directories, two different profile folders, but I always get some weird video card related error message when I then try to start it up (unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot of it). (That's why the original post)

But when upgrading from 1.04 to 1.05 all I had to do was to copy the ArmA game folder (on my installation the profiles were stored in there as well - this might matter), run the upgrade, and then create a new shortcut to the .exe in the old folder.

Now I can easily switch back and forth between 1.04 and 1.05. Until I finally get the Securom issue settled, and can retire 1.04...
