Dedicated Server on Win2003 server

I saw that the dedicated server runs on i think it was win 2k and xp. Does it run on Win 2003 server as well?

Yes it does. I am personally running two dedicated servers on server 2003

That's great. I must be doing something wrong because it keeps crashing for me. At least now I know that it's capable of running on that OS.

I'll continue to try to get it running.

Try to bind the process only to 1 cpu, not sure if this still helps but at least in the earlier versions there were some issues with it on servers.

When i run the dedi exe nothing happens, the service pops up then dissapears.

I am running the server on windows 2k3 enterprise sp2 with 2 Opterons 250's and 4gb ram runs very very nice

Hi,

Have you setup your configuration script and tried launching using a bat file with the proper parameters? The executable alone will just close without the config info.
