gL33k 0 Posted February 27, 2007 DVD reading error happen , when i launch the game. in fact, it can start 1 time on 5 or 6 attempt. so , im forced to use an illegal stuff for start up my game. i would told that game protection piss us off as much as pirate . desertfox 2 Posted February 27, 2007 1) Your DVD-ROM drive might be defective. Try testing with a different drive. ( Borrow one from a mate for a test if you don't have a secondary ) 2) The DVD might be defective. Try returning it to the dealer and have it replaced. 3) You might have tampered with the "low level" drive recognition of your operating system by installing imaging software, stuff a la clone CD, or tools that hide your drives from the operating system. Even if you removed all those programs again, there might still remain currupt settings or changes deep in the OS. If point 1 & 2 fail try restoring windows to an earlier point through the help and support center in your start menu. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
