thr0tt 12 Posted February 27, 2007 Hi, I was just testing a MP coop mission I downloaded and created a LAN game, running around and taking out a sniper I then get a message '<insert name here>' has joined, I then get someone joining my game from the internet ? I checked my firewall and port forwarding was not set up and nothing was allowed in...how odd, anyone got any explanations ? I mean, my laptop doesn;t ahve this installed on and I don;t think my wife is playing trciks with me.
suma 8 Posted February 27, 2007 There is currently no way how to create a LAN game. All games are visible from Internet as well. This will be fixed in 1.05 patch.

As long as you are able to communicate with the Gamespy master server, the master server can act as a mediator for the NAT traversal.
