Dudester 0 Posted February 25, 2007 I am not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but if not hopefully some good can come out of this. This question is mainly to the people who are running a dedicated server. I am intrested to know how many players we can get on individual servers. I say this because on some i think the player limit has been stretched to much, causing such things as lagg and other problems. I know things like pings and that count, but even on the servers i have been on a good ping seems to lagg bad somtimes. I would just like to know what is a good dedicated server for this game, and any hints and tips from the players that are running these servers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KELLO 0 Posted February 25, 2007 Depends on the map and how many players are actually on the server, different maps use more resources, so until the 1.05 patch comes out and we can see what changes have been made e.g. dead body removal, grass textures off etc. its hared to give you exact specs... If you have a dual core 2 gig ram etc you should be able to host comfortably for 65 players, but at the current time this spec would still struggle on CTI mode after a while...if you understand what i'm getting at Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
