Logitech MX518

Recommended Posts

Hello evrybody..

I'm using the Logitech MX518 mouse for ArmA..

It has 2 buttons on the left side and the problem is the highest button isn't beening recognised by ArmA

It's frustrating because in all my other games I use the buttons allot..

I hope this can be fixed in an future update.

Thanks for reading and good luck wink_o.gif

Mousebutton 5 is not supported by Arma (same as OFP), which makes it the perfect push-to-talk button for Ventrilo.

But you can assign that button to a keyboard-key in Setpoint.

The Logitech 518 Mouse works excellent in arma and any other game as well. Get the latest setpoint software from logitech here: http://www.logitech.com/index.c....,osid=1

Then download and install uberoptions found here http://www.mstarmetro.net/~rlowens/uberOptions/

With uberoptions installed you can program all the mouse buttons to keystrokes in this and many other games on a per game basis. This is a very powerful combination of software and works well with virtually every good logitech mouse including:

Mx-510 (Uberoptions adds support in setpoint for this older but excellent 5 button mouse).

MX-518 and of course the G series as well.

This should solve all of your gaming mouse needs in arma I would think.

May be a faulty button and you can check it using the logitech setpoint software.
