OP crashes

Hello

I got the problem that every time I finish a mission (single and campaign) OP puts me back to my desktop. That happens when I end a mission after accomplishing all of the objectives after the "debriefing" screen when I push the end button or when I leave the mission by pressing "end" in the pause screen. In the campaign I got no further than the training when it kicks me out after the "Training succsesfull" screen.

I reinstalled the game several times but that didn't help.

I've got the gold edition installed on this system:

AMD Athlon XP 1600+

512 MB SDRam

Matsonic MS8137C with Apollo KT266 chipset

MSI MS-Starforce GeForce2 Ti

SBLive!

WinMe

I hope somebody can help me because I really like this game

and want to play it.

Search The FAQ for "mission save ctd". (The FAQ is back up).

Hurra it worked. It had nothing to do with CD-burning software but setting the minimum amount of memory to 1000MB did the job everything works just fine.

The Windows swap file setting is the most common cause.

I have, however, been receiving more and more reports of people uninstalling CD Clone to resolve their problems (that is, changing the swap file settings for them didn't help).

What the connection is between CD clone and mission saves and end point, I don't know. I don't think OFP accesses the CD at these points. Anyone have an idea?
