Im knot sure if ne one has noticed lately, but if your chopper gets shot down (in the air and u don't killed by the bullets) and its flying tword the ground ( with out your control) you can jump out of the heli like 5 feet from the ground and have the heli crash right next to you and live! Try it! confused.gif

You can do that with planes. If you fly the cessna at a relatively slow speed, at about 5m from the ground, you can step outside and land on your feet. It doesn't try to open the parachute so you don't go splat tounge.gif

Ay, but is that a bug? Couldn't you do that IRL? I think you could, at least if you're lucky wink.gif

Does the parachute only open at certain height. That is, is there a minimum height where the chute doesn't open?

There's some kind of minimum height (the parachute doesn't open when you jump out of an aircraft at 5 meters).

If a plane is going to crash in real life with 150 km/hour, you arent gonna live.

In ofp you can just eject before a tree, and then u just stand on the tree while blablabla.

Im drunk now, so i dont make sense, but u get the point, or not?

I was experimenting with the resistance cessna, shooting at it with a PK, I got it and the resistance guy jumped out, his parachut opened but it wasn't attached to him biggrin.gif that was the funniest thing I've seen in the game. He came flying down, and splat, 10m away from me, while his parachute floated to the ground with nothing attached to it. biggrin.gif
