Winters1807 0 Posted February 16, 2007 I keep getting textural screw ups (occasionally, not all the time) wen i play arma, the houses look like a child has drawn them, and my GFX are on high. Also, on the campaign after the news briefing, as the convoy goes down the street, some white writing comes up sayin that a convoy is moving through ortego, then, the screen goes black with the white writing stil on it, i can hear sounds and music, but, whenever i press escape, and pause it, i see clearly and the writing and black background go away, but when i resume it jus goes back to being gay. can any1 plz help? System specs: AMD 3000+ 1 gig ram 6800XT gfx card (with the latest drivers) plz help!
neutrix 0 Posted February 18, 2007 I have exactly the same problem. Texture screw ups some of the time, especially when it's a cutscene. It also appears some of the long distance models are being used at close range rather than the high res ones. I also have the same campaign problem. All my graphics options are set to the Maximum (usually "Very High"). System: Core 2 Duo X6800 Processor 2x8800GTX in SLI 2GB RAM Windows XP Professional SP2. Has anyone had any ideas on a fix for this? Thanks.
Winters1807 0 Posted February 18, 2007 I found that in order to stop the textural distortions, graphics must be set 2 low

whisper 0 Posted February 18, 2007 I found that in order to stop the textural distortions, graphics must be set 2 low Well, in your case (due to your GC), it doesn't surprise me too much. You may find some settings can be put a bit higher, but I wouldn't expect setting everything on High and having no issue, tbh. Now, in Neutrix's case.... That's way less normal
