3d program -> O2 = how?

I wounder what do i need or is it possible..

if a want to do a house in 3d program like softimage xsi or 3dmax and then export to o2 , how do i do that what do i need..

second q is about normal maps and other kind of maps. how do i apply them do i need to convert them after i made them to tga ? does operation flashpoint support normal maps, i know that armed assault use them...

plz explain or give me links or anything...

export them to .3ds and then import them in o2

does operation flashpoint support normal maps

upon exporting/importing 3ds into 02, make sure you have kfdata dummy section present.

export/import ONE material at a time. multiple ones will cause uv error

HA! Amazing, just came here to see if anyone could give me a hint on what kfdata was.

I have a similar plan to Landychev but I'm a complete noob at 3d modelling and (with the exception of some schooling over 10 years ago) my current experience is in hours! I've already tried to export a 3ds from Blender, but naturaly ran into the kfdata error.

I'm basically a patient person but as modelling for Arma is currently much of my motivation, and I havent found any other reference to it. I was hoping one of you nice people could give me a clue on this.

thx for the help, iam an xsi user but i have had som prew ex in max so i will try that...

i do wounder does anybody know anything about the new tools that hasent been relased for arma ?

and someone how do i get normal maps and stuff like that in arma ?
