unload troops from air

Ok iam only a noob, iam trying to get that a helicopter transport tropps to one place land and then the tropps leave..

The problem is that tropps do enter helicopter then the helicopter starts fly where it should and then it hover , it do not land..

how do i tell helicopter to land and unload one grupp of troppers ?

i have never use script or stuff like that..

plz explain i have look for landing in forum but there is ait shit...

plz explan to a noob that dont understand why bis didnt put a land meny in editor for helicopter...

i did find out that most people get piss of at problems with opf like i do right know...

Usually Unload Transport in waypoint's Type can be used for such ocasions.

Also note that the 'flying AI' is somewhat dumb, and can be sometimes a real pain to deal with/edit.

i have tried that, but helicopter hover over the ground, i want it to land then unload tropper or unload first then land and pilot stay in chopper ....

It should land, unleas there're some 'obsticles' on the ground (threes, houses ...) or something, but it should land ... But as I said, flying AI is sometimes really ...

Make a trigger:

- Radious: 250 - 500 m (adjust it to your needs)

- Side: apropriate side

- Condition: choppername in thisList

- On activation: choppername land "land"

You can use invisible H (landing pad) to help and to 'tell' the chopper where exsactly to land.

thx man, the invincible H-pad did fix everything that i wanted...

my helicopter invasion is now complete now it is time to make an transport by boat invasion..

still dont get why Bis didnt put in land menu for helicopter in editor..
