INNOCENT&CLUELESS 0 Posted January 3, 2007 Can someone advise me if the ArmA engine is capable to: 1.) support realistic M1A1 crew: comm/loader/gunner/driver = 4 peps. I guess all except driver should be able to control an MG. 2.) support BMP-T http://www.t-72.de/html/bmp-t.html means 1xComm/3xGunner/driver Cheers I&C

Should be possible, commander, gunner and driver are standard and the loader could be solved as a cargo proxy. That the commander, gunner and the loader are able to use the MG should be possible to be done with scripting or multiple gunner positions. 2.) Since ArmA supports multiple gunner positions, I see no problem about creating a BMP-T
INNOCENT&CLUELESS 0 Posted January 3, 2007 Clarification on both points: I talked about both using own weapons per weapon station (I guess in some M1 versions both loader and commander having own LMGs while the gunner controlling the MG aligned with main gun) and sharing weapons or at least aiming support (e.g. commander could override gunners main gun control and turn cannon onto his selected target). The cargo proxy thing makes me worry, I thought that it would be possible to create several gunner positions which are numbered or named to be able to distinguish.
