BazOokaKing 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I've tried everything and a few tweaks I've seen posted about. I'm playing the demo off of FilePlanet and: Lowest settings possible@1024x768: Highest settings possible@1024x768: Not sure what happened to that helicopter...Anyway, my specs are nothing special but there not bad either (7800, 3500+ 64, 2GB RAM). I only reinstalled everything a week ago (my twice yearly clean) and have updated everything possible on my system (chipset drivers, g card etc). Everything is off before playing too, like anti-virus and stuff. No problems with other games. So, is anyone else getting this issue with a 7800GT? Also, I find it odd that my FPS rate is the same on very low and very high settings. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Killbert 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I have also noticed that the fps doesn't always improve as you would expect from turning the settings down. Try setting the color depth to 16, it gave me a small boost with my 7900 GT. It can be set from you My Documents\ArmA\ArmA.cfg. It doesn't have much effect for visual quolity, except in dark.
