boake 0 Posted December 5, 2006 Does somebody know how to disable the intros?
Balschoiw 0 Posted December 5, 2006 You can skip those that got properly implemented as "intro" or "cutscene". Those that got implemented with missions can´t be skipped. Bad missiondesign.
Maddmatt 1 Posted December 5, 2006 I think he means the logos when the game starts up. Add -nosplash to the command line of the ArmA shortcut.

I tested the alt4+f4 trick, but!!! the game is autosaved right before exiting to windows. Alt + Tab then use Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it. If that wont work then you'll just have to reset your PC! You could also kill you character by grenade/satchel charge suicide or get an enemy to kill you. Why do you want to do this anyway?
boake 0 Posted December 5, 2006 (Maddmatt @ Dec. 05 2006,15:17) said: Why do you want to do this anyway? Good question. I wanna disable the autosave because it is a kind of compulsory function. For example, if I mess up a mission and abort it, the messed up mission is automatically saved and I have to resume that next time I play. I don't know why the developer chose that unreasonable method.
Antichrist 0 Posted December 5, 2006 Looks like the save system is still as unusable as it was in OFP. So you can blame the engine.

You can always choose between resuming your mission, or going back to the mission start. I fail to see a negative side effect of the auto-save function.
