rullstolskalas 0 Posted December 2, 2006 So as topic says... I have nvidia 7800 gtx with 2gb ram but i still can't run on highest settings shouldn't my ram and graphics card handle that? By the way i installed the latest drivers to my graphics card too.
sickboy 13 Posted December 2, 2006 Nah, altough optimization is under way, it will probably run solid on (very) high settings with a next generation high end videocard, and Intel Core 2 3.0ghz (or AMD equilevant) or higher. Mentioning ram and videocard is btw a tad too less, as cpu speed is very important too. Just make sure all ur drivers are up2date, thats the most important Then fiddle with the settings... resolutions over 1024x768 seem to have massive impact on FPS. High Anisotropic and Antialiasing aswell, but of coarse depenendent on the system. Btw, there are already threads for these kinds of issues, why make a new one

Mr_Tea 0 Posted December 2, 2006 It works with high settings for me. Postprocess normal, AF high and AA normal with 1200 meters viewdistance in 1280x1024. I think for high or very high, a videocard with 512MB Ram is needed. My GeForce 7600GS 512MB can handle Arma better than expectet. My AthlonXP 3200+ too.
