smellyjelly 0 Posted November 6, 2006 I've been looking forward to this game for a while now, but over the course of trying to find new screenshots, videos, and features, something always confused me. The system requirements. During my search, I read so many people claiming to know the requirements, however, all these people said different things. http://armed-assault.net/ "Pictures and videos were created on a computer with these specs: AMD 64 3800, Nvidia 6600, 1 GB RAM. Update: In our German forums ISysa showed pictures of the PC's specs and of the ArmA built version: *Pics" However, in the pictures, you can clearly see that the computer has an AMD64 3000+ processor, 1 Gig of ram, and a 6600GT videocard. Now, I'd just like to point out, that those screenshots and videos look amazing, maybe even the best I've ever seen of this game. Surely they aren't running on max from a computer with those specs. I mean, it's not even near top of the line anymore, and that's coming from someone that also has an AMD64 3000+, 1 gig, and a 6600GT. I'd be amazed if I could run Armed Assault with settings that look even remotely close. (I've read more claims, although the ones I've mentioned are the only ones that I can find at the moment.) Since we are so close to the release date, I'd assume that the final requirements have been determined. I'm just hoping that I could get an official word of what they actually are. [EDIT] Aww, it's already been posted in the Progress thread. I guess this topic is sort of useless, and I wasted a good twenty minutes posting it. Â Â [EDIT#2] Since I already posted this, I guess I should ask my question here. What settings were those videos running at? As in, low, medium, high, or max?
