Making a Camp

How would I make a camp or base?

you have to use all of the objects in the empty selection in the units action....

select units at the top of the screen and make sure you place the player first.... you cannot access the objects unitl you have placed your player. then make another unit but this time we are going to the side bar at the top where you select east or west etc. You should now see an emepty selection. select it and you shall now have access to every vehicle and unit in the game. And you shall also have objects. select objects and you will have access to all the objects you need for making a base.. e.g. tents, ammo boxes and flags etc....

but make sure you have gunslingers objects addon. you can get it here, Kegetys objects 1 and two

Depends on what sort of base you wanted to make..

if it is just a small firebase type encampment.. with sandbag emplacements for the machine guns and barbed wire fences for the perimeter... then just use the objects under 'Empty'

set them up as you think a camp would look like.

If you want metal fences for walls, and guard towers.. then the add-ons will be needed.

It's annoying that you can't play MP missions containing unofficial addons if the others don't have the addons...

It should be added automaticly, or the game should ask the player if he wants to install the addons.

It should ask the players if they want to grab the add-ons from the people who do... otherwise yoiu could spend hours looking for the correct add-on.

I hope BIS will fix this for version 1.5. It'd be really nice.
