problem using hatswitch on controller

HOTAS/ JOYSTICK users..... can you help?

helo /aircraft internal view control.

if using a hatswitch on my flight controller i can control my field of vision, but my up/down works DIFFERENTLY than my left/right looking around.

up/down works perfect for me, i contol the amount i want to look up/down, and it STAYS the direction i want to look at , until other input is added. it wont center unless i MAKE it return to center. (this is how i want my left/right to do)

but,my left/right works like a snap view. meaning if i press left to look, it automatically looks to its FARTHEST point, and i let go of the hatwitch..it immediately returns to center...

it used to work before, but after re-installing OFP, i cant get it to work where up/down/left/right is all one SMOOTH operation, rather than a "snap view"

any help?

You can't do anything about it, it's one of the features BIS added in one of the patches.

ah,,, hence my never getting it to work again since it stopped a few years ago.
