-HUNTER- 1 Posted July 30, 2006 I wanted to join some MP games. But I keep getting kicked because Ive got a high ping. But Ive never had any lag, and basicly my ping isnt accurate I think. Could it be because my pc is behind a router. Its strange I keep getting kicked because of this ping and that ping, but in the list I have pings arround the 20mS that isnt that high now is it??? I dont know why it is that I get kicked, my game still runs smooth as, and Ive never had any lagging.... ? Help me I also want to play MP! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[aps]gnat 28 Posted July 31, 2006 What servers are you trying to join? Is it just one? Is you ISP a dog? Is it a cheap-arse connection? Not being kicked because of other reasons? (mistaken banded ID ? ) If you are trying to join the OGN server in Australia for example you will be kicked .... we're too bloody far from the rest of the "connected" world for you non-aussies to get a decent ping (or latency). But if its a true 20ms then that seems a bit unfair. As Bratty eluded too, some programs you can't see will drag the connect. That can include some anti-virus programs too.
