Rommel 2 Posted June 25, 2006 Ok, I dont know about you guys but I always thought the resistance respawn marker name was respawn_resistance, and until recently did I find it was respawn_guerilla. But. respawn_resistance worked, wanna know why? Any marker starting with respawn_ is a respawn point, if the side respawn hasnt been allocated (ie respawn_west) The player will cycle through respawn points when he dies. Say you had: respawn_1 respawn_2 respawn_3 Your player when he dies will randomly go to one of them and then play till he dies again then will randomly go to another one, this isnt using scripts just something I found OFP does. In other words, a marker starting with respawn_ is a respawn point.
Artak 0 Posted June 25, 2006 Quote[/b] ]...I find it was respawn_guerilla Close but no cigar. You gotta sometimes think like a true Chezch speaker to get these right. It's respawn_guerrila not guerilla. /edit Oh I was supposed to add that you can also group units to markers and they will act as random starting places in the beginning of the mission.
