willybeef 0 Posted May 8, 2006 Since time began iv had problems with sound on ofp 1st i had a lame onboard soundcard which caused my sound to go slow and blue screen after loud explosions/shilkas Then i got a sound card cmedia which was same as onboard and i had same problem but turned down low combated it! Then i got a usb headset which is more or less like its own sound card as i has own drivers and is a total different device was working fine till pc crashed and psu blown up so i replaced then i had problems with mic and iformated and changed psu from the temp one and it was fine! Now it keeps crashing and i turned down in DXDIAG and the sound quality on no acceleration is so terrible it crackly and i cant watch videos or anythin but any higher my game crash's!! Would appreciate any input also think there is a problem with AC97/CMEDIA with ofp as i have read on avonlady im not only person with problem the guy who fixed it had 98 i think and his was different! After shilka fire the sound crackles and goes into slow motion and then blue screens!!
