Need some suggestions

Hello

I am working on an island that needs some large towns - so I am looking for some good town houses, and I could do with some recommendations for building addons to use.

They have to be in a British style, Terraced town houses, shops, and the like. They have to be reasonably low poly for performance reasons.

There are many packs I have seen that have blocks of flats or even massive skyscrapers, but not much in the way of town houses. I *could* just keep using the Resistance low-detail terraced house over and over, but that would look very boring after a while.

Nope, i dont belive any body has made any british style buildings. Sadly... Its mostly US and arabic stuff.

Be fun to have a councel estate and chav units "oi bruv, tick us a fag like before i spark you out with my berburry baseball cap and trackys from primark"

I seem to remember there being some British-type buildings (there are some wall murals like you see in NI anyhow) in there based on retextured BIS buildings.

would'nt a councel estate require a Unit addon, with Optional choice of shell suits and some random running phrases in ogg format, such as "now den kidder" or classic "i'v a'd y'a m'a"

also some new wheel rim animations, would be needed for a UK addon

so you can steal car wheel trims LOL

maybe also an addaction to remove car sterio wich gives the player so many points, points vary depending on how fast you select the steal action when in proximity pmsl

i'd like to see some uk buildings to,

im in Liverpool, 25 mins outside friday night you'd soon have a worthy wss for a (drunk i wish to kill you style) noisy enviroment

i just hope if you release a Postman,

his route is more reliable than the ofp bus service,

my civ's want thier giros

ye no this kind of idea would be great for anti terrorist missions, not all cities have peeps waving ak47's shouting jehadd, some throw pies & petrol bombs & generaly stagger about shouting "you lookin at me"

i love ofp, but i think for what he wants i'd say gta vice city is about the nearest you can get, GTA:SA is a bit big and GTA3 is a bit dull, but vc's about avarage for innercity chaos

Thanks for the replies! Liverpool is actually going to be on the island, so you can have fun with that

That building pack did help, I might just go ahead and take the time to learn to use Oxygen, and make some myself.

The island I am working on by the way is Wales, as in, the whole country and a little bit of England. Not 1:1 scale, of course. It's a 51km x 51km island.

ooo wales! i live there!, make sure to include Barry! (large town not far from cardiff). I can provide an excelent 'Barry accent' to (not quiet welsh, with over top prenouciations of A's and hardly any use of the letter T if its on the end of a word)

Heh, i remember reading some survey recently dubing england and wales the most violent country in the developed world compared to population only beaten by scottland which doesnt suprise me. Since christmas my brother as been ran over on perpose (with survear injuries, police never caught any one), one friend has been bottled, another stabed,one head butted, and 2 survealy beaten up (all undrelated, all involving alchol, police not involved/failed to catch any one, all but one unprovoked) and my parents car been vanalised, twice. And i live in the nice part of town

any way, we need british riot police and football yobs armed with bottles, bats, and bricks! (resking of gimbals tossers?) and of course, new animations for drunks! (for thoughs saturday night town centers)

but i like the idea of wales more, specialy if its got them dirt tracks and country lanes
